Curry Puffs


  • Puff pastry sheets
  • 1 tblsp coriander
  • 2 tspns chilli powder
  • ½ tspn mustard seeds
  • ¼ tspn turmeric
  • A little green ginger, grated
  • ¼ tspn cinnamon
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 hard boiled potatoes, cubed
  • 500gms minced beef
  • ¼ cup lemon juice


Dry fry the curry spices in a non- stick pan.  Add the sliced onions and cook until tender. Add the minced beef, potatoes, salt and a squeeze of lemon juice.
When the mince is cooked through and the curry is dry, place by tablespoon onto puff pastry sheets cut into squares.  Fold into triangles & seal with milk.  Brush with beaten egg, prick and cook in oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden.  
Serve warm with My Thai chilli sauce.
